Lost Painting Surfaces at Flea Market Half-Century Later

In 1965, Siu Kui Cheung sold a painting to a picture framing shop in Hong Kong. Nearly fifty years later, it turned up at a flea market in Toronto, Canada.

“I believed it to be like an early work of a great master made during his years studying abroad,” the purchaser wrote in a blog post.

It’s fortunate that this painting now has a new home.
